Kinds
Clark makes a range of forklift trucks like pneumatic trucks, cushion trucks and narrow aisle. The different kinds vary when it comes to the way they are powered. For instance, heavy-duty forklifts utilized for agriculture and construction are powered by an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle types designed for use within warehouses and other confined spaces run on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
According to the type of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity could differ. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the model. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion types are recommended. They could lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
AC batteries, either 48 volt or 36 volt, are utilized to operate Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustion or IC engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC types have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This consists of the operator's overhead protective cover, the controls and the seat. The frame consist of the fuel tank, engine, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
